India-Africa Seed Summit 2025 – Hyderabad, 11–13 September 2025
Stakeholders across government ministries, seed agencies, agricultural research institutions and the private sector are invited to participate in the India-Africa Seed Summit 2025, scheduled to take place from 11th to 13th September 2025 in Hyderabad, India. Hyderabad, known as the Seed Capital of Asia, provides an ideal environment for collaboration in agricultural innovation and capacity building.
The Summit is being organised by the Indian Chamber of Food and Agriculture (ICFA), a national-level institution recognized by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India, and chaired by Shri Suresh Prabhu (Hon’ble Former Union Cabinet Minister), the Summit is being held in close partnership with the African Seed Trade Association (AFSTA) and several other international and national organizations.
The Summit will serve as a strategic platform to deepen India-Africa cooperation in the seed and agriculture sectors, aiming to:
Strengthen seed systems;
Promote policy dialogue;
Facilitate research collaboration;
Support technology partnerships and trade development.
The Summit will include:
High-level plenary sessions on seed trade, innovation, and policy harmonization;
B2B networking opportunities;
International exhibition and agri-tech showcase;
Field visits to premier Indian seed enterprises and research institutions;
CEO Conclave, knowledge exchange forums, and an Awards Ceremony.
